Buy the code under a license that says what you can do.
VoxNotch is not positioned as open source or free SaaS. It is commercial code: public screenshots, docs, and examples are evaluation material, while deployment rights come from a license.
- License scope
- Commercial agreement
- Default rights
- All rights reserved
- Purchase model
- Perpetual license available
What that means
Public material is evaluation, not deployment permission.
Source code without an open-source grant is not public domain. Copyright applies by default, which means copying, modifying, redistributing, reselling, or running it requires permission from a commercial agreement.
The intended commercial path is a paid perpetual code license: buy the right to operate the product in your own workflows and keep using the purchased version. The pricing page explains that model, but the license text still controls the actual permission.
Until a license is issued to you, treat screenshots, docs, install examples, and repository access as evaluation material rather than deployment permission.
Why publish this
A private infrastructure product needs a clean permission line.
Every self-hoster needs to know what they are allowed to run, change, back up, and operate for clients or employees. Leaving that vague would make the pricing page sound cleaner and the product less trustworthy.
The clean version is simple: no open-source claim, no fake zero-cost tier, no implied SaaS subscription. Buy the code under a license that states what you may do with it.
Choose the commercial path deliberately.
Review the buy-the-code pricing model and the operational requirements before putting private recordings into any stack.
