Operators

A private media stack still needs an operator cockpit.

VoxNotch ships with launch scripts, readiness checks, job views, admin controls, metrics, backup and restore scripts, and optional Prometheus/Grafana/Loki/GoAccess monitoring.

Who this is for

Operator loop

Know whether the system is ready before someone uploads audio.

  1. Launch

Use first-run, demo, or dev launch scripts that generate secrets, resolve local ports, and wait for API readiness.

  2. Observe

Check runtime, job state, model usage, queue health, and metrics from the admin and monitoring surfaces.

A report-like panel showing checks and status rows.
Delivery and job checks as a model for operational proof.
  3. Recover

Use repair scripts, bounded admin actions, backup verification, and restore runbooks instead of debugging from memory.

Honest limit

Self-hosted means you own the pager.

VoxNotch can expose what is happening and give you scripts for launch, smoke tests, backups, restores, and monitoring. It cannot make your disk reliable or your host reachable.

Start with the local demo, then prove backup restore.

A launch that cannot be observed or restored is not ready for real recordings.
